Jake Klein grew up in one of Florida’s foremost food families – his grandfather owned the legendary Raphil’s on Miami Beach, his mother was Miami’s premier restaurant publicist and his stepfather is an award-winning cookbook author. At 23, he was in Hong Kong as the Executive Chef of the Miami Spice Bar and Grill, and ran a kitchen with an all-Chinese staff.
Now in U.S., Jake has created a unique fusion of Asian and Caribbean cooking. His innovative menu earned him rave reviews from Vogue, Ocean Drive Magazine, Fashion Spectrum and Southern Living. Klein was the Executive Chef of Pulse, the hip Asian-Fusion restaurant in SportsClub/LA at Rockefeller Center.
