Fuyu Persimmon Smoothie

Serves 2
1 Fuyu persimmon, leaves removed
salt to taste
sweetener (honey, maple syrup or agave nectar) optional
1. Place persimmon in a blender until they become smooth, salt to taste. Adding of water or sweetener is optional.
Chef Note:
If you noticed, my recipes do not call for measurements and the reason is that I want everyone to trust their own tastebuds and feel the ingredients. Every time I cook, even if I use the same ingredients, they are all unique and different, thus requiring different measurements, or a pinch of salt to make it right. A carrot found in San Francisco tastes different from the one found in Tokyo and so on.
