Ingredients
1/4 lb Shitake mushrooms
3 tbs soy sauce
1/2 tbs minced garlic
3 tbs mirin, cooking rice wine
Black pepper
Salt
Method
Slice the mushrooms. Over high heat, grease a sauté pan with oil and sauté the mushrooms. When the mushrooms become wilted add minced garlic and toss. Add soy sauce and mirin and stir rapidly to avoid burning the soy sauce and mirin. Remove the pan from heat and add black pepper and salt to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.
