He became an expert at several cuisines,including French, Italian and Japanese, eventually won international cooking competitions. He began using his expertise to experiment with blending international flavors into Thai dishes. Chalermkittichai then received the prestigious honor of being named the first-ever Thai Executive chef at the Four Seasons Bangkok .
