Since then, he has made his stand with his artistic creativity. His passion for travel and desire to experience new cultures took him to Singapore in 1981, where he became the Assistant Chef in the famous Happy Valley Restaurant, the best Cantonese restaurant then. Today, he is the Master Chef for Hua Ting Chinese Restaurant of Orchard Hotel Singapore. Kwok clinched the Asian Ethnic Chef of the Year award at the WGS award ceremony in May 2005.
